JELAJAH MALAYSIA 2016 - Stage 1
EMAMI wins premier stage
Rahim EMAMI, Iranian proficient climber claimed premier stage of Jelajah Malaysia which was held from KUALA LUMPUR to IPOH PERAK D.R. over 206.5 km.
Pishgaman Giant Cycling Team which is the only Iranian Team among 16 participating teams has the highest potential for conquering the whole event.
Individual classification of stage 1:

While Rahim EMAMI wears yellow jersey tomorrow, other five Iranian riders are placed as follows:

15th - KOLAHDOUZ HAGH Amir
17th - HOSSEINI Reza
32nd - BEYK KHORMIZI Hamid
37th - POURHASHEMI Hamid
Today, 86 riders started the race, there was one rider never showed up at the start, one rider finished out of time limit, and 7 riders abandoned the race. Therefore there will be 78 riders at the tart tomorrow.

Stage 2 will be held tomorrow in a climbing route from SUNGAI SIPUT to CAMERON HIGLANDS and the distance will be 113.4 km.
