Asian Trials Championships 2018 - Japan
Two Asian medals for Iranian riders

All races in all categories were held in Classic Wheel Size in Saku-City of Japan on 30 Apr 2018 and the following results were achieved:

In Men Elite 20" which 6 riders from 3 countries took part, Iranian riders took last places:

Gold- TERAI Kazuki (JPN)
Silver- TSUCHIYA Ryoga (JPN)
Bronze- SAITO Natsuki (JPN)
4- YIP Hin Tsun (HKG)
5- RAHIMI Javad (IRI)
6- PEYVANDI Mahdi (IRI)

In Men Junior 20" there was only one rider from Japan who won the Gold and therefore there was no other medal.

Gold- TANIGUCHI Yuki (JPN)

In Men Elite 26" three riders from two countries, Japan and Iran took part and Iranians won a Silver and a Bronze:

Gold- SHIOZAKI Tomu (JPN)
Silver- AZADI Mohammadreza (IRI)
Bronze- MOHAMMADINEJAD Amir (IRI)

Men Junior 26" and two riders from two countries:

Gold- OMATA Taichi (JPN)
Silver- WINOWATAN Theo Christofer (INA)

Two countries in Women Open:

Gold- YOKOTA Kana (JPN)
Silver- HIRANO Miyu (JPN)
Bronze- LEELYN Clarence Shao (TPE)

5 countries including the host country (Japan), namely Iran (4 riders), Indonesia (1 rider), Chinese Taipei (1 rider), Hong Kong (1 rider) took part in this event. This could be a god start for the next edition of the Asian Trials Championships 2019 in Iran.
